Gay Orlando: Thanksgiving Dinner at Stonewall Orlando Gay Bar

November means thanksgiving and thanksgiving can mean awkward or lonely times for members of the LGBT community. Some have been ostracized from their families for coming out and as such can feel they are missing out on the Thanksgiving festivities. However…this doesn’t need to be the case any longer!

The Stonewall Orlando gay bar is organizing a Thanksgiving Potluck for those who are in need of being with some family on Thanksgiving. The event is on Thanksgiving day, November 22nd 2012 from 5pm. Bring a dish to share if you wish to take part in the potluck fun and enjoy two for one drinks specials from 4pm till 9pm.

Named after the famous Stonewall Inn in New York City, Stonewall Orlando is the only “Gay neighborhood” bar in Orlando as it is within walking distance of much of downtown – including the Amway Center which is just three blocks away. (They are located at 741 West Church Street, Orlando, FL 32805)

The facility features gated parking outside as well as many different amenities inside…including a game room with pool table and dart board, three lounge areas, a DJ area, VIP seating area as well as a Courtyard. It’s aim is to create a home away from home.

If you don’t have somewhere to celebrate Thanksgiving this year in Orlando, head out to Stonewall and receive some great Orlando LGBT hospitality!
